Brand New Eyes came in the mail yesterday...and it's haunting me. The songs have sooooo much meaning to them, and they're so raw that you can feel Hayley's anger. I feel like I can relate the songs because it's about friends feeling judged and not getting along and breaking apart...

So, currently we are having huge floods all over the place. My friends all have flooded basements, and mine is just beginning to flood. Grreeaatt.

So today I woke up at 4am because of the thunderstorms, and went ahead and dragged my ass out of bed. After getting ready for school, I decide its not worth risking my life and decide to stay home. Then school is delayed by 90 minutes, so I decide to catch a ride with my friend and go in anyway. Then they said school was delayed until 10am. Finally, they just shut down the school system altogether.

It pisses me off because if I'm gonna have a day off, it might as well be the whole day, not a partial day after stressing out all morning! Now I have to go to school on a makeup day when I could've slept in all day long.

BUT IN OTHER NEWS...
School is closed again tomorrow since the weather is only getting worse.

Don't you hate it when you have ideas that keep nagging at your brain and they poke you and tug on you until you just explode? lol, I've had these tiny ideas for the basis of a new story for me to write but I'm trying to figure out if there could actually be a plot or if it's just those little useless ideas I come up with.

This time I'm actually taking the initiative to write out the plot and characters traits instead of jumping into writing, and over 100 pages later still not have a plot.

School is going much better than last year. Great teachers (even if two of them are loopy) and great class locations. I can actually use my locker this year, too. Whoot.

My birthday is on September 6th. REJOICE.
